Two Teens Charged with Arson in Greeneville Warehouse Fire | TriCities: "Greeneville Police arrested two teenagers and charged them with arson after a Thursday morning fire destroyed a historic warehouse.
Police charged Jory Ramirez and Matthew Keith Rose with arson. Both are 18 years old. Ramirez told police he was a rising senior at Greeneville High School.
Police say both teens are cooperating in the investigation and both admitted to setting the fire at the old tobacco warehouse on Main Street.
Police also told News Channel’s Amber Miller they found a “shrine of satanic nature in Rose’s bedroom.” Police said that included stolen tombstones, pictures of inverted crosses, and a Bible with a large hunting knife stuck in it.
Police say the teens also admitted to vandalizing Greeneville Public Library and Mount Bethel Baptist Church.
Thursday morning’s fire destroyed the century old warehouse which was being renovated by a local businessman."
