Joshua Anderson, 31, will serve the suspension next week, the fire chief said.
Anderson was found guilty of disorderly conduct for getting intoxicated and throwing a beer bottle at a bar owner in June during a bar scuffle.
Police had to use a Taser on Anderson to calm down the fight. Officials said Anderson was remorseful and accepted blame for the incident."
