Norfolk, VA. (WAVY.com) -- It has been confirmed to WAVY.com that a twin-engine plane has crash landed on the runway at Norfolk International Airport.
The plane, a Beech Baron, crashed after it's retractable landing gear collapsed. Only the pilot was onboard at the time and did not suffer any injuries.
Air traffic was delayed two hours until crews could remove the plane from the runway.
Flightaware, a website that tracks flights live, showed the plane inbound from Raleigh-Durham International before it crash landed."
