Political Punch

Political Punch: "A couple interesting details from Sen. Barack Obama's trip to the West Bank on Tuesday.

According to senior advisers to the campaign, Obama told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad that they should continue the peace process started at Annapolis, and that should Obama be elected president, he wouldn't expect a whole new process to begin. They should keep plugging away, he said, all the hard work would NOT be for naught despite the pending end of the Bush presidency."
